This auction is for a vintage 3 PC set from ASR produced for the Panama Canal Engraved with Frank & Mary. I don't know if these were maybe engineers on the project in 1914? Retiring? Or if it was Just engraved for Souvenirs at the Panama Canal. However, they are also engraved with Mary and Frank (There was a Frank (Frances) Newcomer that was Governor of the Panama Canal Zone back then who remained there until 1952) So Either way.....I haven't found ANY others that were engraved with Panama Canal so it seems that part is RARE! Great set from an estate I'm working on. They are in good overall condition. They are Rhodium and have some oxidation but still look pretty good for display! They actually look better in person than in the photos. I was trying to make sure any flaw showed for photos. (lousy photographer) But MORE than what I could see without zoom is showing up as well.
